THE WESTENDERS

Stagewise is celebrating 10 years of teaching and 10 years of fantastic holiday workshops!
This Easter is no exception – act, sing and dance as you wow them in the West End.

Join Stagewise for 4-days of musical theatre magic on The Westenders workshop. The highlight of The Westenders is a trip to London to take part in an exclusive musical theatre masterclass with the stars of the smash hit musical, Sister Act PLUS a top price ticket to see this award winning show live at the West End’s most famous theatre, the London Palladium.

TV ACADEMY - PRESENTER'S WORKSHOP!

During our 3-day Presenters masterclass, students had the opportunity to work with industry professionals and enjoyed a trip to London for a behind the scenes tour of BBC Television Centre.

IDOLS

Our rocktastic celebration of musical legends, live at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts.
Idols featured a selection of smash hit West End musicals; inspired by rock and pop idols through the decades; Queen, Abba, Madness, Cliff Richard, Rod Stewart and Take That!

Idols, which was staged on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May 2009 at Lighthouse, Poole and played to 2000 people, was our biggest production to date, featuring a LED video wall, (previously used on the Girls Aloud tour!)

ULTIMATE SUMMER SCHOOL MUSICAL

The ultimate summer school experience!
5 fantastic days of acting, singing and dance based on your favourite movie musicals:

The highlight of this amazing new workshop was a top-price ticket to see the National Tour of High School Musical LIVE ON STAGE at the Bournemouth International Centre.

ABBAMANIA

After three successful years, Stagewise was invited back by Handshake Productions to perform in their smash hit touring production of ABBAMANIA when it arrived at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth earlier this summer.

Twenty talented Stagewise students, aged between 8 and 17 years of age, performed ‘Fernando’ and ‘I Have a Dream’ during the ‘one night only’ performance on Friday 10 July 2009.

Blockbusters

On the 3rd and 4th June 2011, all students from Stagewise School for the Performing Arts will be taking to the stage in our summer spectacular, BLOCKBUSTERS at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts.

BLOCKBUSTERS is a selection of West End musicals; inspired by some of the most popular box office smash hit movie musicals; Sister Act, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Legally Blonde, The Sound of Music & Hairspray.

Stagewise students are already hard at work in rehearsals for Blockbusters and we are certain that the show will be another huge success for Stagewise!

Tickets are £15 for adults and £12 for concessions (under 16s and OAPs.

THE COMEDY ACADEMY
